Sanitation Requirements
1. Connectawaterlinefromyourfacilitytothe1/4”arewaterinletttingofthevalve,behindthemachine.Watervolume
goingtothemachineshouldbestable.Usetubingsizedsufcientlytoprovideaminimumowrateofonegallonperminute.
2. Plugthepowercordintoanelectricaloutletratedat20A.
3. Switchonthetoggleswitch,behindtheunit,thatrunspowertothecomponentsinthemachine.Thelights(displaywindow
androwofbuttons)onthefrontdoorwillactivateandtheheatingtankwillstarttoll.
4. Waterintheheatingtankwillrequireabout30minutestoreachoperatingtemperature(factorysettingof190°F).Atthistime
theREADYLEDwilllight.
5. Removeandllthecanisterswithsolublecoffeemixes.

GenerallytherewillneverbeareasontochangeyourSD2programming.However,shouldyouneedtomakeslightadjustmentstomeet
yourdispensingneeds,programminginstructionsareprovidedlaterinthismanual.

Equipmenttobeinstalledtocomplywithapplicablefederal,state,orlocalplumbing/electricalcodeshavingjurisdiction.
SETUPSTEPS
Theunitshouldbelevel(lefttorightandfronttoback),locatedonasolidcountertop.Connectawaterlinefromthewaterltertothe
brewer.NOTE:Sometypeofwaterltrationdevicemustbeusedtomaintainatrouble-freeoperation.(Inareaswithextremelyhard
water,wesuggestthatasedimentaryandtaste&odorlterbeinstalled.)Thiswillprolongthelifeofyourdispensingsystemandenhance
coffee quality.
TheNationalSanitationFoundationrequiresthefollowingwaterconnection:
1.Aquickdisconnectoradditionalcoiledtubing(atleast2xthedepthoftheunit)sothatthemachinecanbemovedfor
cleaningunderneath.
2.Insomeareasanapprovedbackowpreventiondevicemayberequiredbetweenthebrewerandthewatersupply.

FILLCANISTERSDAILY
1. Open the front door to access the coffee canisters.
2. Thecanistersmustberemovedfromtheunitforlling.Turntheproductdeliveryelbowsupward.
3. Repositionthecanistersonthemachine,turningtheproductdeliveryelbowsdownwardandaligningthegearsocketwiththe
motor shaft.

2. PressandholdtheselectedPUSHbutton.Hotcoffeebeveragewillstartdispensing.
3. Releasethebuttonwhenthecupis2/3full.
